Please ensure you have the following documents and information before your NIN appointment.
(Including foreign & Nigerian births) from the Nigerian National Population Commission (NPC) website as applicable.
Get your NPC yourself before your appointment:

Ensure you complete the pre-enrolment and obtain your NIMC reference before your appointment.
If you have a BVN, please bring it along. If you’ve never done BVN before, you can still enrol for NIN without one.
Ensure you arrive with a valid Debit/Credit Card to make this payment and get the NIMC reference before enrolment.
Payment Terms: This is the service charge for your enrolment. Cancellations must be done at least 24hrs before the appointment to be eligible for a refund. All refunds attract a £10 processing fee.
A VALID NPC Digitized Certificate Number is required. Certificate may be obtained for Birth Attestation, Birth Notification, or Certificate Reissuance at:

Look for certified centres on their websites to confirm their legitimacy. 2. Book an Appointment: Before visiting, most centres require you to book an appointment online. Visit the website of your chosen enrolment centre to complete the booking process. 3. Gather Required Documents: You’ll need the following documents for your NIN registration: Proof of Nigerian Citizenship: Valid or expired Nigerian passport If no passport, bring a Letter of Attestation from the Nigerian High Commission. For minors, bring a birth certificate and the NIN of one parent. Proof of UK Address: UK driving license Recent utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill, or tenancy agreement Bank Verification Number (BVN) (Optional): If you have a BVN, bring it as some centres may require it during the registration process. Additional Documents: Some centres may ask for a completed enrolment form, so check the website for requirements. 4. Complete the Enrolment Process: During your appointment, your demographic data will be collected, including fingerprints, a facial photograph, and a digital signature.
